Introductions
Hello, everyone! My name is Emma Downie. The photo above was taken last fall, shortly after I returned home from serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was also taken shortly before this seemingly long-lasting winter we are experiencing in the Utah/Idaho region. I am currently an illustration major at Brigham Young University - Idaho, with an emphasis in publishing, but I am making this blog for my Family Relations class. Over the course of this semester I will be uploading some of my thoughts on what we are discussing about the family in my class, which, you should know, will also be heavily influenced by my standing as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I believe and know the family to be of upmost importance, and look forward to sharing my thoughts over the next few weeks!
